OUR THINKING

SMG began as a marketing consultancy that wanted to approach client work in a different manner. We looked at providing "unbundled" services to clients rather than a host of services that clients might not need. We brought together virtual teams of specialists to work on a wide range of projects. Our process works quickly and cost effectively for our clients and has produced some excellent work.

SMG has also branched out into the area of social and economic development and community engagement. We have become social entrepreneurs who believe in capitalism and the market, but also in making a difference in our community. "Make a difference and make a dollar" as an astute friend of ours pointed out. We now use our marketing, business and development experience to find projects that will make a difference in the community. We specialize in projects for communities, arts and cultural organizations, economic development groups and entrepreneurs.
